Swiss Alpine Club expedition team relies on Katadyn, Optimus and Trek’n Eat
With With its multi-year course of instruction, the Swiss Alpine Club (SAC) trains the best young, aspiring mountaineers in Switzerland to become professional alpinists. The five expedition trainees in the current program are preparing to start out on their 40-day final expedition in summer 2016 in the Tian Shan mountains in China. This cluster of wilderness peaks on the border between Kyrgyzstan offers an outstanding opportunity for a first ascent. The Katadyn Group is supporting the youthful mountaineers with two Katadyn Pocket filters for treating drinking water in base camp, Optimus stoves and freeze-dried Trek’n Eat expedition meals (only available in Europe).
